Buddy Lives at Rossie
Commission: To illustrate a booklet for the Rossie Young People’s Trust.
This service provides residential and secure care to children/young people who have been exposed to adverse childhood experiences and aims to maximise their resilience and potential.
It was a pleasure to work with their team to create a child-friendly book which gives information about their hugely valuable service to siblings of those attending Rossie.
Challenge: To turn the real Buddy Bear into an illustrated bear who could tell children about this service in an engaging and fun way.
PUBLICATION: “Buddy lives at Rossie” was published 2023. This book is now given to siblings of those attending Rossie Young People’s Services and tells of all the experiences Buddy Bear has while visiting Rossie.
